Science Week 2025

Science Week was a huge success, with every pupil getting stuck into exciting STEM challenges.

• Whole-School Egg Drop Challenge – Congratulations to Alex’s team whose structure kept their egg perfectly safe!

• Explosive Volcano Experiments – Pupils built and erupted their own volcanoes with great excitement.

• Balloon Rocket Races – The hall was filled with energy as pupils raced their balloon-powered rockets.

• Trip to Cabragh Wetlands – Jimmy and Gerry gave wonderful tours, teaching us about birds, wildlife, flora, fauna and conservation.

• Senior Room Trip to Brú Ború – As part of our Green Schools Marine Environment work, pupils created sea creatures from recycled materials, learned about marine life and enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Sporting Success

We welcomed members of Rubie’s U13 team who won the County Final. We are so proud of Rubie and her brilliant achievement.

Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated three lovely birthdays this month. Happy birthday to our November pupils!

Looking Ahead

We are very excited for all that December will bring – festive fun, winter art and Christmas celebrations are just around the corner!
